The core rotations for the Resident will include 6 week experiences in:

• Orientation (July, August, and part of September)

• Infectious Disease

• Cardio-Metabolic Ambulatory Care

• Emergency Medicine (ED)

• Critical Care (ICU)

• Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Longitudinal core rotations include:

• Project Development and Management

• Hospital Practice

• Pharmacy Administration

Elective Rotations offered in a 4-week rotation period:

• Managed Care Behavioral Health Ambulatory Care

• Pulmonary Ambulatory Care

• Oncology

• Loma Linda University Teaching Certificate (longitudinal)

The Department of Pharmacy Services serves as a rotation site for Loma Linda School of Pharmacy and many surrounding school of pharmacies. IPPE and APPE students are offered a variety of rotations with residents serving as associate preceptors during these clerkships.
