Requirements for Acceptance

The deadline for applications is December 31st, the year prior to start date. The Residency begins on the first week of July each year with a program length of 12 months. Requirements for acceptance into Desert Regional Medical Center's Residency Program include the following but not limited to:

• The applicant must be a graduate from an accredited school or college of pharmacy

• The applicant must possess or will possess a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree by start of program date

• The applicant must possess a California intern license prior to employment

• The applicant must have a California pharmacy license within 90 days of starting the program

• The applicant must complete residency application through PhORCAS

• The applicant must apply for Pharmacy Resident position posted online at www.desertcarenetwork.com prior to start date

• The applicant must successful complete of all pre-employment requirements as defined by Human Resources (i.e., background check, drug screening, vaccination status, etc)
